Librazhd District

The District of Librazhd (Albanian: Rrethi i Librazhdit) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, part of Elbasan County. It has a population of 63,192 (2010 estimate), and an area of 1,023 km . It was formed as an administrative unit in 1958. It is in the east of the country, and its capital and administrative center is Librazhd.

Shebenik

Shebenik is a large mountain located in the Shebenik-Jabllanice National Park in eastern Albania. Shebenik has many peaks over 2,000 m . The highest is Maja e Shebenikut at 2,253 m above sea level. It is found in the north-east of Shebenik. Around this peak are a number of small and large mountain lakes. Shebenik mountain is located west of Jablanica Mountain and northwest of Lake Ohrid.

Jablanica Mountain

Jablanica is a mountain in Albania and the Republic of Macedonia, located along the border between both countries. The long mountain ridge is higher than 2,000 m for approximately 50 km, while the highest part, located in its very center, is Black Stone at 2,257 m high. Both countries have 50% of the mountain, Albania the west and Macedonia the east. Jablanica Mountain contains many large mountain lakes.

Black Stone, Jablanica

Black Stone (Albanian: Guri i Zi; Macedonian: Црн Камен, Crn Kamen) is the highest peak of Jablanica Mountain located both in Albania and the Republic of Macedonia. Black Stone reaches a height of 2,257 m, being not many metres higher than other peaks of Jablanica.

Royal Tombs of Selca e Poshtme

The Illyrian Tombs of Selca e Poshtme (Albanian: Varret e Selcës së Poshtme) are located near the town of Pogradec in Albania near the village of Selcë e Poshtme. On the right bank of the river Shkumbin at an elevation of 1040 m above sea level, lie the remains of the ancient city of Pelion and the accompanying necropolis. The Roman Via Egnatia led past it towards Thessaloniki.
