Maligrad
Maligrad - The small town,is an island situated deep within the Albanian part of Lake Prespa, with many caves suitable for wildlife and a circular cliff. Shaped like a tadpole, it contains some trees and an area of sand. The island contains a famous Saint Mary Church, built by Kesar Novak (Qesar Novaku), a local noble, in 1369. It has an area of almost 5 hectares.

It has a population of 33,785, and an area of 429 km². It is in the southeastern corner of the country, and its capital is Bilisht. Its busy border point Kapshticë/Krystallopigi connects the district with the Greek regional units of Florina and Kastoria to the east and southeast.

Plasë
Plasë or Plasa is one of the biggest and most important villages in Korçë District, Albania. It is part of the municipality Pojan. It is located in the centre of the county, slightly to the east. Plasa is about 8 kilometers northeast from the city of Korçë. It has a population of about 1000, and about 300 houses; however new houses are being built, especially two floor houses, which are rarely seen in villages. It has beautiful mountains and an Orthodox church on top of the mountains.
