Prickly Pear Island

Prickly Pear Island is an islet approx. 650 metres off the north shore coast of the much larger island of Antigua, West Indies. The island measures approx. 100 metres north to south, and approx. 50 metres east to west. The island is uninhabited, but frequently used for recreational excursions.

Antigua Recreation Ground

Antigua Recreation Ground is the national stadium of Antigua and Barbuda. It is located in St. John's, on the island of Antigua. The ground has been used by the West Indies cricket team and Antigua and Barbuda national football team. It has Test cricket status. A number of great cricketers, including Andy Roberts and Richie Richardson, began their first-class careers there.

Government House (Antigua & Barbuda)

Government House, Saint John's, Antigua & Barbuda. The official residence as well as office of the Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda, it was built in the 17th Century Colonial style with Georgian architecture and extensive gardens. The residence is not open to the public.

House of Representatives (Antigua and Barbuda)

The House of Representatives of Antigua and Barbuda is the lower chamber of the country's bicameral parliament. The current House of Representatives, formed following elections held on 12 March 2009, has a total of 19 members. 17 members are directly elected to five year terms from single member constituencies using the first-past-the-post system. There is one ex-officio member and the remaining seat is held by the Speaker.
