Malvinas Argentinas Partido is a partido in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, in the Gran Buenos Aires urban area. It has an area of 63.8 km and a population of 321,833. Its name reflects Argentina's claims of sovereignty over the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas in Spanish). It was created on October 20, 1994 by Provincial Law #11551, taking some of the territory of former General Sarmiento Partido.
