The Shire of Jondaryan was a local government area located in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, Australia, immediately west of the regional city of Toowoomba. The shire, administered from the town of Oakey, covered an area of 1,910.0 square kilometres, and existed as a local government entity from 1890 until 2008, when it amalgamated with several other councils in the Toowoomba area to form the Toowoomba Region.

Division of Groom

The Division of Groom is an Australian Electoral Division in Queensland. The division was created in 1984 mostly out of the old Division of Darling Downs. It is named in honour of Sir Littleton Groom, who represented Darling Downs with only one short break from 1901 to 1936 and served as Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives. It is located in the rural areas west of Brisbane and is centred on the city of Toowoomba, Australia's second largest inland city.

Goombungee, Queensland

Goombungee is a small town north of Toowoomba in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, Australia. At the 2006 census, Goombungee had a population of 717.
