Sellicks Beach is a town in South Australia, close to Aldinga, and representing the southernmost extent of the Adelaide urban conurbation. At the 2006 census, Sellicks Beach had a population of 1,622. There are housing development projects being undertaken in Sellicks Beach. There is a Post Office, Deli and a Pizza Shop. The Fleurieu Peninsula is a peninsula located south of Adelaide in South Australia, Australia. It was named after the French explorer and hydrographer Charles Pierre Claret de Fleurieu by the French explorer Nicolas Baudin as he mapped the south coast of Australia in 1802. Towns of interest in the area include Victor Harbor, Willunga, Mount Compass, Normanville, Goolwa, Yankalilla, Rapid Bay and the wine region of McLaren Vale.

District Council of Yankalilla

The District Council of Yankalilla is a local government area centred on the town of Yankalilla on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula. The council was established in 1854, two years after legislation was passed allowing the formation of District Councils in South Australia. Willunga is a town south of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Onkaparinga local government area. It is 5 km away from the wine growing region of McLaren Vale and is approx. 47 km from the Adelaide CBD. At the 2011 census, Willunga had a population of 2,416. Willunga is connected to the town of McLaren Vale by a cycle path running along a former railway line and is only a short distance from the beaches of Aldinga.
