Dunnstown is a town in Victoria, Australia. The town is located in the Shire of Moorabool, 108 kilometres west of the state capital, Melbourne on the flats below Mount Warrenheip and approximately 12 kilometres east of Ballarat. At the 2006 census, Dunnstown and the surrounding area had a population of 254.

Kryal Castle

Kryal Castle is an Australian replica medieval castle located on a foothill of Mount Warrenheip at Leigh Creek, just north of Dunnstown and 8 km east of Ballarat. It was built in 1972 and opened to the public in 1974 by Keith Ryall, who gave the castle his namesake, having made his fortune selling body armour. The castle has many features including a moat, drawbridge, maze, castle towers, stocks medical museum, armoury.

Bungaree railway station

Bungaree is a closed station located in the town of Bungaree, on the Ararat railway line in Victoria, Australia. The station was one of 35 closed to passenger traffic on 4 October 1981 as part of the New Deal timetable for country passengers. A new high speed deviation has been built away from the station site as part of the Regional Fast Rail project, with the original line remaining open retained as an extended crossing loop.

Bungaree, Victoria

Bungaree is a town in Victoria, Australia. The town is located 103 kilometres west of the state capital, Melbourne and 14 kilometres east of the regional centre of Ballarat, on the Western Freeway and in the Shire of Moorabool local government area. At the 2006 census, Bungaree and the surrounding area had a population of 559. Bungaree Post Office opened on 1 August 1863.

Warrenheip railway station

Warrenheip is a closed station located in the town of Warrenheip, on the Serviceton railway line in Victoria, Australia. The Geelong-Ballarat line junctions off at the down end of the former station. The line though the station opened in 1862, on the double track railway from Geelong to Ballarat. The station opened in 1873, becoming a junction in 1879 when a branch line was built towards Gordon station, the direct line to Melbourne not completed until 1889.
