St Kilda West is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 5 km south from Melbourne's Central Business District. Its Local Government Area is the City of Port Phillip. At the 2011 Census, St Kilda West had a population of 2,845. It is bounded in the west by Port Phillip Bay, in the north by Fraser Street, in the east by the former St Kilda railway line and in the south by a line generally along West Beach Road, a block north of Fitzroy Street.

St Kilda railway station

St Kilda railway station is a former railway station located in the Melbourne suburb of St Kilda, Australia and was the terminus of the St Kilda railway line of the Melbourne suburban rail system. It is the oldest surviving railway station building in Victoria, and one of only three to have a 19th century train shed. The building is currently used as retail premises.

Acland Street, Melbourne

Acland Street is a street in the Melbourne suburb of St Kilda, which enjoys great popularity as a recreational area, mainly due to its many restaurants and its proximity to the entertainment areas along St Kilda beach Acland Street runs on a north-west to south-east axis between Fitzroy and Barkly Streets. It was one of the first streets laid out when St Kilda was surveyed in 1842.

Junction Oval

The Junction Oval (officially, the St Kilda Cricket Ground) is an historic sports ground in the suburb of St Kilda in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its location near the St Kilda Junction (the intersection of St Kilda's main street - Fitzroy Street - and St Kilda Road) gave rise to its nickname. It is located approximately five kilometres from the centre of Melbourne and is in the southernmost part of the large Albert Park sporting precinct.
