Yarck railway station

Yarck railway station is a former railway station in Yarck, Victoria, Australia. After the station was closed in 1978, the main station building was sold and moved elsewhere. A passenger shelter in poor condition and a goods shed remain at the site of the station.

Yarck, Victoria

Yarck is a town in the upper Goulburn Valley region of Victoria, Australia. The town is in the Shire of Murrindindi and on the Maroondah Highway, 166 kilometres north east of the state capital, Melbourne. At the 2006 census, Yarck and the surrounding area had a population of 223. Yarck Post Office opened around February 1877. The railway arrived in 1890 and the station was closed in 1978.

Cathkin, Victoria

Cathkin is a small town in Central Victoria, in Australia. It is a small stop along the Goulburn Valley Highway, and is approximately 100km North from Melbourne. The railway to Mansfield arrived in the town from Tallarook in 1890, being closed on 18 November 1978. The last passenger service was on 28 May 1977. Cathkin was the junction of a short branch railway to Koriella, which opened in September 1890 and was later extended to Alexandra in 1909.

Molesworth is a town in the upper Goulburn Valley region of Victoria, Australia. The town is in the Shire of Murrindindi and on the Maroondah Highway, 117 kilometres north east of the state capital, Melbourne. Molesworth Post Office was opened on 1 January 1875 and was closed on 30 June 1994. The railway arrived in 1890 and the station was closed in 1978.
