Manypeaks is a town located 434 km south-east of Perth and 38 km north-east of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The township is on the South Coast Highway close to the intersection with Howie Road. The closest towns to Manypeaks are both on the South Coast highway and are Albany to the south-west and Wellstead to the east. The town lies close to the three lakes of the Lake Pleasant View System Important Bird Area.

Angove River

Angove River or Angove Creek is a river located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia most of the river is found within Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve. The stream was discovered in 1898 by surveyor William Angove and was named in 1913 after its discoverer by another surveyor BW Ridley. The water is of excellent quality and is considered as fresh, potable water. Only 5% of the catchment area has been cleared mostly in the very upper reaches and around the lake.

Gondwanothrix

Gondwanothrix halsei is a species of small crustaceans (ca. 1.0–1.3 millimetres or) within the order Cladocera, in the suborder Anomopoda, placed in its own family, Gondwanotrichidae. It exists in a macrotrichid habitus found in humic coastal dune lakes and swamps in southwest Western Australia. The species' type locality is Angove Lake in the Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve .

Goodga River

The Goodga River is a river in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The river is located within the boundaries of Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve about 15 kilometres east of Albany. The river rises to the North of Reservoir Hill and flows in a southerly direction until it discharges into Moates Lake. The name was first recorded in 1913 by a surveyor and is thought to be of Aboriginal origin.
