Getreidegasse

Getreidegasse (also known as Grain Lane) is a busy shopping street in the Old-Town section of Salzburg. The house at no. 9 Getreidegasse is the place where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born and where he lived until the age of 17. Originally called Trabegasse (derived from traben "to trot"), its name was changed several times before it became the Grain Lane.

Großes Festspielhaus

The Großes Festspielhaus (Great Festival Hall) was designed by the architect Clemens Holzmeister in 1956 for the Salzburg Festival in Austria. The Festspielhaus was inaugurated on 26 July 1960 with a performance of Richard Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier conducted by Herbert von Karajan. It is one of the largest stages in the world being one hundred metres wide (300+ feet) and the auditorium itself is square, seating 2,179 people.

Stiftskeller St. Peter is a restaurant within the monastery walls of St. Peter's Archabbey, Salzburg, Austria. It is claimed to be the oldest inn in Central Europe because of a document mentioning it in 803 AD.
