Herman Vanderpoortenstadion

Herman Vanderpoortenstadion (also called Het Lisp) is a multi-use stadium in Lier, Belgium. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Lierse S.K. since 1925. The stadium holds 14,538, including 4,311 standing places, 522 business seats, 102 VIP seats and 3 loges. It is located along the Lispersesteenweg, the road leading to Lisp, the neighbourhood of Lier where the club is located.

Borgerhout

Borgerhout is a district in the city of Antwerp in the Flemish Region of Belgium. The district houses 41,614 inhabitants (as of 31 May 2006) reflecting 90 nationalities. It is divided in two by three adjoining traffic arteries (the Ring highway, the Singel boulevard, and the main railway Brussels-Amsterdam).

Zimmer tower

The Zimmer tower is a tower in Lier, Belgium, also known as the Cornelius tower, that was originally a keep of Lier's fourteenth century city fortifications. In 1930, astronomer and clockmaker Louis Zimmer (1888–1970) built the Jubilee (or Centenary) Clock, which is displayed on the front of the tower. The tower was built no later than 1425 though the precise date of construction is unknown.

Xaverius College

Xaverius College, in Borgerhout, near Antwerp, Belgium, is one of seven schools operated by the Jesuit priests in Flanders, the northern and western part of Belgium where Dutch is spoken. Xaverius College holds about 800 students, girls and boys, between 6 and 18 years old. It is a mix of old and new buildings around the recreation areas and the monastery garden. A group of Jesuits live in the monastery but they no longer teach as they used to.
