Klein-Sinaai

Klein-Sinaai is a village near the Dutch border in the Belgian municipality of Stekene in the province of East Flanders. Until 1976 it was an independent municipality. In Klein-Sinaai are the remains of Boudelo Abbey (also known as Boudeloo Abbey), formerly a monastery of the Cistercians. The abbey was founded in 1197 when Boudewijn of Boekel, a monk from St. Peter's Abbey in Ghent, settled in Klein-Sinaai as a hermit. In the early 13th century the abbey was recognised by the Bishop of Doornik.

Koewacht

Koewacht is a village on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium. It is located in Zeelandic Flanders, a part of the province of Zeeland and part of the municipality of Terneuzen. The village consists of two parts; a Dutch and a Belgian part. As of 2005, there are approximately 2,400 inhabitants. The Dutch part of Koewacht was a separate municipality until 1970, when it was merged with Axel.

Kemzeke

Kemzeke is a village in the Belgian municipality of Stekene in the province of East-Flanders. Until 1976 it was an independent municipality. It sits between the Dutch border and the limit with Sint-Niklaas. Eddy Merckx rode his last cycling race in Kemzeke.

Daknamstadion

Daknamstadion is a football stadium in the village Daknam, municipality Lokeren. The stadium is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Sporting Lokeren. Around 1980 the stadium could host 18,000 people, due to security reasons the stadium's current capicity is 9,560. Since 2008 the board of Sporting Lokeren has plans to expand the stadium with 1,760 places, but the construction hasn't been started yet.

Belsele

Belsele is a village and a deelgemeente of the municipality of Sint-Niklaas, which is situated in the Belgian province of East Flanders. In 1217 Belsele became an autonomous parish. Also Belsele and Sinaai were united in rule in a tribunal (under the Keure van Waas). In 1795, Belsele became canton Capitol of the Scheldt department, with as subordinate municipalities Daknam, Eksaarde, Elversele, Kemzeke, Sinaai, Sint-Pauwels, Tielrode and Waasmunster.
