Ardenne Castle

Ardenne Castle, or the Royal Castle of Ardenne (Château Royal d'Ardenne, formerly also spelled "Hardenne") was situated in the municipality of Houyet in Belgium not far from Ciergnon Castle. The construction of the building was ordered in 1874 by King Leopold II of Belgium, to the plans of his architect Alphonse Balat. It replaced an older hunting lodge built in the 1830s by Leopold I.

Naulette

Naulette is a large cavern on the left bank of the Lesse, which joins the Meuse above Dinant, Belgium. Here in 1866 Édouard Dupont discovered an imperfect human lower jaw, now in the Brussels Natural History Museum. It is of a very ape-like type in its extreme projection and that of the teeth sockets (the teeth themselves are lost), with canines very strong and large molars increasing in size backwards. It was found associated with the remains of mammoth, rhinoceros and reindeer.

Castle of Vêves

The Castle of Vêves occupies a rocky platform just outside the village of Celles, in the province of Namur, Belgium. It is classified as Major Heritage of Wallonia. According to tradition, the site has been occupied by castles since the time of Pippin of Herstal (7th century). In the later Middle Ages, the area fell under control of the Beaufort family, which oversaw the construction of a stronghold here in about 1230.

Miranda Castle

Miranda Castle, also known as Noisy Castle (French: Château de Noisy) is a 19th century castle in Celles, province of Namur, Belgium, in the region of the Ardennes. The castle was built in 1866 by the English architect Milner under commission from the Liedekerke-Beaufort family, who had left their previous home, Vêves Castle, during the French Revolution.

Brasserie Caracole

The Brasserie Caracole is a Belgian artisanal brewery based in Falmignoul that is known to warm the water with a wood-fired oven. The bottling and labelling are made manually. The brewery was already existing in 1766 under the name Brasserie Moussoux, then changed its name Brasserie Lamotte in 1941 and was finally taken over in 1992 to become the Brasserie Caracole.
