Amparo, São Paulo

Amparo is a Brazilian city of the state of São Paulo. The population in 2003 was 63,364. The area is 446 km². The city is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Amparo. The city is part of the "Water-Circuit", a cluster of towns which are very famous for natural fountains and waterwells.
