Kota Batu is a mukim in the Brunei-Muara district of Brunei. It is located on the eastern-south of the Brunei-Muara district, bordering Mukim Mentiri to the north, the Brunei Bay to the east, Pulau Limpaku Pinang of Limbang, Sarawak (Malaysia) to the east, Mukim Lumapas to the south and west, Mukim Kianggeh and the water village mukims to the west.

Saba, Brunei-Muara

Saba is a mukim in the Brunei-Muara district of Brunei. It is one of the six water village mukims. All the water village mukims are quite small in size and area and are water-bound. It is located in the heart of Brunei's capital, Bandar Seri Begawan on the waters of the Brunei river. Saba is a part of the water village collective though it is actually considered as a mukim itself. It is adjacent to the other six water village mukims.

Lapau

The Lapau is located in Bandar Seri Begawan, across the Royal Regalia Building and the Brunei History Centre. It is the ceremonial hall where the royal ceremonies of Brunei are traditionally held. In this place, beneath the interior's golden-domed ceiling, that the present Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, was crowned on 1 August 1968. Adjoining the Lapau is the old Dewan Majlis or Parliament House. A new and bigger Dewan Majlis has just been built.

Brunei

Brunei Listen/bruːˈnaɪ/, officially the Nation of Brunei, the Abode of Peace, is a sovereign state located on the north coast of the island of Borneo, in Southeast Asia. Apart from its coastline with the South China Sea, it is completely surrounded by the state of Sarawak, Malaysia, and it is separated into two parts by the Sarawak district of Limbang. The Istana Nurul Iman, the official residence of the Sultan of Brunei, stands on its banks. The Brunei River is the shortest major river in Brunei Darussalam. Brunei Darussalam's traditional residential areas, Kampong Ayer (Water Village), is situated on the river. Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei Darussalam, stands on its banks.
