Lokomotiv Stadium (Sofia)

Lokomotiv Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium, located in Sofia, Bulgaria. The stadium holds 22,000 people, of which 17,500 are seating. The stadium was built in 1985. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of PFC Lokomotiv Sofia. Also, from 2000, the stadium is used for major rock concerts.

Serdika

Serdica is a district located in the center of the capital Sofia. It includes four neighbourhoods: "Fondovi zhilishta"; "Banishora", "Orlandovtsi" and "Malashevtsi" as well as the central parts of "Draz mahala". It has an area of 17.53 km² that counts for 1,3% of the total Capital Municipality area and 8,8% of the city proper. As of 2006 Serdica has a population of 52,918. There are 6 kindergartens, 13 schools and 6 chitalishta in the territory of the district.

Dobroslavtsi Air Base

Dobroslavtsi Air Base or 1st Fighter Air Base Dobroslavtsi (Bulgarian: 1ва Изтребителна авиобаза Доброславци) is an air force facility near Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. It is located to the west of the city and has for long time been its major air defence asset. Currently the base is disbanded with the only activity being guarding duty of the airframes of MiG-23s, conserved at the field.

Central Sofia Cemetery

The Central Sofia Cemetery (Bulgarian: Централни софийски гробища, Tsentralni sofiyski grobishta) or the Orlandovtsi Cemetery ("Орландовци") is the main cemetery in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The cemetery has several chapels used by various Christian denominations, such as a Bulgarian Orthodox church of the Dormition of the Theotokos, a Roman Catholic chapel of Saint Francis of Assisi, an Armenian Apostolic chapel, a Jewish synagogue, etc.

Nadezhda, Sofia

Nadezhda (Bulgarian: Надежда, meaning "Hope") is a district located it the north-western parts of Sofia with an area of 19,300 decares. As of 2006 it has 77,000 inhabitants. It includes nine neighbourhoods: "Nadezhda" I, II, III and IV; "Tolstoi"; "Svoboda"; "Triagalnika"; "Iliyantsi" and "Trebich". In 1906 there were only a few houses in the area where the road from Sofia to Lom passed through the fertile fields.
