Johnson Street Bridge

The Johnson Street Bridge is a bascule bridge that spans the harbour of Victoria, ;British Columbia. It is commonly referred to as the "Blue Bridge" because of its distinctive blue colour. The bascule spans were designed by the Strauss Bascule Company Limited and were fabricated in Ontario. The sub-structure was built by the City of Victoria Engineering Department and required 9,144 cubic metres of concrete. The bridge was completed in January 1924 at a cost of C$918,000.

University Canada West

University Canada West (UCW) is a private for-profit educational institution in British Columbia, Canada. University Canada West was established by David Strong, a former president of University of Victoria. Dr. Arthur Coren is currently the president of the university. Founded in 2005, it was purchased in 2008 by the Eminata Group, which is based in Vancouver. The Eminata group also owns CDI College.

St. Andrew's Cathedral (Victoria, British Columbia)

St. Andrew's Cathedral is the Roman Catholic cathedral for the diocese of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. Built in the High Victorian Gothic style, St. Andrew's was Victoria's third cathedral to be built. (The first, 1858–1884, is now the Chapel of St. Ann's Academy on Humboldt Street; the second, 1884–1892, was on the site behind the current building now occupied by the St. Andrew's Square office building. ) Construction for the new cathedral began in 1890.
