Pino Hachado Pass

Pino Hachado Pass (Spanish: Paso Pino Hachado) is a mountain pass through the Andes, joining Chile and Argentina. It is one of the principal passes of the southern Andes, connecting Argentina's route RN-22 and Chile's Route 181-CH. ' Transit must pass through Las Raíces Tunnel, on the Chilean side. At its highest peak, Pino Hachado Pass is 1884 meters high. The climate is cold and dry, with summer temperatures recorded at 25°C/77 °F, and winter temperatures recorded at -15°C/5 °F.

Galletué Lake

Galletué Lake, also spelled as Gualletué Lake, is a lake located in the Andes of the La Araucanía Region of southern Chile. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides. From the fourth side, the eastern one, originates the Biobío River.

Icalma Lake

Icalma Lake is a lake located in the Andes of the La Araucanía Region of Chile, close to Icalma International Pass. It is connected to the Laguna Chica de Icalma by a short stream, covering both lakes a surface total of 11.7 km². The lake drains northeastwards into the Biobío River by way of a 10-km-long river named Rukanuco.
