Cajón del Maipo

Cajón del Maipo is a canyon located in the Andean southeastern portion of the Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile. It encompasses the upper Maipo River basin, where the river has entrenched itself in a narrow valley. The zone features a series of confluent rivers such as El Volcán River, Yeso River and Colorado River, as well as other minor streams, including San Gabriel, Manzanito, Coyanco, El Sauce, El Manzano and San José.

Adolfo Ibáñez University

The Adolfo Ibáñez University (UAI) is a private university of Chile pertaining to the Adolfo Ibáñez Foundation. In 1988, according with the new educational legislation, a new university was founded on the base of the Valparaiso Business School (Escuela de Negocios de Valparaiso), an old institution for the professional teaching in business administration founded in 1953 thanks to the contribution of Adolfo Ibáñez Boggiano. The new university would take its name some decades ahead.

Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida

Estadio Bicentenario Municipal de La Florida is a multi-purpose stadium, located in La Florida, in eastern Santiago, Chile. It is the home stadium of Chilean football team Audax Italiano. The stadium was built in 1986 and rebuilt in 2008. The stadium also hosts a variety of events such as summer theatre festivals and music concerts, such as the KISS concert in early 2009. Faith No More performed at the stadium on October 30, 2009 as part of their The Second Coming Tour.

Apoquindo (Runasimi Apuk-kintu flowers for the deity)) is the name of a river and pre-Columbian settlement located east of the city of Santiago de Chile, at the foot of the foothills, in the present town of Las Condes.

Apoquindo Waterfall

The Apoquindo Waterfall is a waterfall in Waters of Ramon Natural Park on the east side of Santiago, Chile, near Apoquindo. It is fed by melting snow from Cerro San Ramon. Reaching the waterfall requires a moderately difficult hike of about 7 hours total duration at a good pace. The waterfall has a main drop of about 25 meters (80 feet).
