Hengqin New Area

Hengqin Dao is an island in Zhuhai, a prefecture-level city and Special Economic Zone in the Guangdong province of the People's Republic of China. It has a population of about 3,000. The whole island is designated a special economic district, as Hengqin New Area, similar to Binhai New Area in Tianjin and Pudong New Area in Shanghai.

Legislative Assembly of Macau

The Legislative Assembly or AL is the organ of the legislative branch of Macau. It is a 29-member body comprising 12 directly elected members, 10 indirectly elected members representing functional constituencies and 7 members appointed by the chief executive. It is also known in English as the Legislative Council of Macao, according to the official translation of the territory's basic law.

Ruins of St. Paul's

The Ruins of St. Paul's refers to the ruins of a 16th century complex in Macau including of what was originally St. Paul's College and the Cathedral of St. Paul also known as "Mater Dei", a 17th century Portuguese cathedral dedicated to Saint Paul the Apostle. Today, the ruins are one of Macau's most famous landmarks. In 2005, they were officially enlisted as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Centre of Macau.

Casino Lisboa, Macau

Casino Lisboa is one of the most famous hotel casinos in Macau. The casino is owned by the Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM), a Stanley Ho company. This three-storey complex was built in late 1960s.. The original casino and the 12-storey round hotel tower were built in 1970 by Stanley Ho, Teddy Yip, Yip Hon and Henry Fok. A 270-room extension was added in 1991 for a total of 927 rooms. In 2006, another extension, the Grand Lisboa, was built next to the current complex.
