Ming Ancestors Mausoleum

Ming Ancestors Mausoleum, the first imperial mausoleum complex of the Ming Dynasty is a cenotaph located north of the former Sizhou City, Yangjiadun, in present day Xuyi county, Huaian city, by Hongze Lake, north of Huai River Jiangsu Province, China.

Xuyi County

Xūyì County (盱眙) is a county which falls under the jurisdiction of Huai'an, Jiangsu Province. The most renowned specialty in Xuyi County is the special flavoured crayfish(盱眙十三香手抓龙虾). In every summer the international crayfish festival of China(中国国际龙虾节) is held, in which many pop stars perform the open ceremony show. June 12 2011 is the first day of the festival this year.

Hongze Lake

Hongze Lake is located in Jiangsu Province, China and is encompassed by the prefecture-level cities Suqian and Huai'an. Lake Hongze is the fourth largest freshwater lake in China. Lake Hongze has quadrupled in size since the 12th century. A particularly large changed happened in 1680 (the 19th year of the Kangxi era), when the Yellow River changed its course and merged with the Huai River.
