Qüxü County

Qüxü or Qushui or Chushur or Chushul is a county west of the main centre of Lhasa, Tibet. As of 1999 it had a population of 32,150, with an area of 1624 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 9 townships, and 114 village committees. In the Tibetan language it means "water ditch. " The lowest elevation is 3,500 meters, with the highest summit elevation of 5894 meters.

Lhasa Railway Station

Lhasa railway station is a railway station in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region, China. It lies in Liuwu New Area, Doilungdêqên County, 1 kilometer to the south of the main river and 5 kilometers south west of the Potala Palace.

Norbulingka

Norbulingka is a palace and surrounding park in Lhasa, Tibet, built from 1755. It served as the traditional summer residence of the successive Dalai Lamas from the 1780s up until the 14th Dalai Lama's exile in 1959. Part of the "Historic Ensemble of the Potala Palace", Norbulingka is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and was added as an extension of this Historic Ensemble in 2001. It was built by the 7th Dalai Lama and served both as administrative centre and religious centre.
