Dobra (Kupa)

The Dobra is a river located mostly in the Karlovac County in the Republic of Croatia. It is 104 kilometres long and its basin covers an area of 900 square kilometres . Dobra rises in Gorski Kotar near Skrad and Ravna Gora, where it flows first to the north and then turns to the east. It flows past Vrbovsko, to the southeast into the city of Ogulin, where it becomes an underground stream. It takes a sharp northward turn and rises back to the surface north of Ogulin.

Ozalj Hydroelectric Power Plant

Ozalj Hydroelectric Power Plant is a hydroelectric power plant on river Kupa, in its central stretch, near the town of Ozalj, in Karlovac county, Croatia. The Ozalj Hydroelectric Power Plant is run-of-the-river plant on the Kupa River central stretch. The Ozalj plant consist of two separate hydroelectric power plants, Ozalj 1 (located on the right bank of the Kupa River) and Ozalj 2 (located on the left bank of the Kupa River). It is operated by Hrvatska elektroprivreda.

Drežnik Viaduct

The Drežnik Viaduct is located in Karlovac, Croatia, immediately to the south of the Karlovac interchange on the A1 motorway. It is the longest viaduct in Croatia, spanning 2,485 metres . It is executed in seven segments (225 m +270 m +4x408 m +358 m long), separated by expansion joints. The viaduct was constructed by Konstruktor, Split, as the main contractor, and Viadukt and Hidroelektra of Zagreb as subcontractors in 2000 and 2001.
