Sunja (Sava)

Sunja is a river in central Croatia, a right tributary of Sava. It is 69 kilometres long and its basin covers an area of 462 square kilometres . Sunja rises in the mountainous forested areas of Zrinska Gora, south of the village of Lovča. It flows northward until it turns southeast at Komogovina, and then north again near Majur. It turns east at the eponymous village of Sunja and continues through Lonjsko Polje until it merges into the Sava east of Krapje.

Pakra

Pakra is a river in western Slavonia and central Croatia, a left tributary of Lonja-Trebež. It is around 72 kilometres long. Pakra rises in the south of Ravna Gora, north of the village of Bučje. It flows towards the west and passes through Pakrac, where a southward bend takes it through Lipik. It continues to the west and passes Banova Jaruga. It flows southwest into the Trebež, the southernmost section of Lonja, near Sava.

Ilova (river)

Ilova is a river in central Croatia, a left tributary of Lonja-Trebež. It is 85 kilometres long and its basin covers an area of 1,049 square kilometres . Ilova rises in the hilly areas of eastern Bilogora, south of Virovitica and Suhopolje, and flows towards the southwest, forming a series of lakes near Veliki Zdenci. It turns to the south near Garešnica, where there are another set of lakes at the confluence with the river Toplica that rises in Papuk.

Lonjsko Polje

Lonjsko Polje is the largest protected wetland in both Croatia and the entire Danube basin. It covers an area of 505.6 square kilometres, extending along the river Sava from the areas east of Sisak, the lower course of the river Lonja for which it is named, to the areas west of Nova Gradiška, along the course of the river Veliki Strug. The area of Lonjsko Polje is designated a nature park (park prirode), a kind of protected area in Croatia.
