Siege of Gvozdansko

The Siege of Gvozdansko was a siege of Gvozdansko Castle in the Kingdom of Croatia within Habsburg Monarchy. The battle around Gvozdansko and the siege of the castle lasted from 3 October 1577 to 13 January 1578, between the defending Croatian forces and the invading Ottoman army under the command of Ferhat-paša Sokolović. The battle resulted in an Ottoman victory with heavy losses on the Ottoman side, while all defenders died during the siege.

Komora

Komora is a village in Croatia. It is connected by the D6 highway. The village is very small with only 26 residents living there in 2001, in some 13 properties. Before the war in Croatia 178 people resided in the village according to 1991 census. At its peak in 1931 the population stood at 432 residents but it has been on decrease ever since. Komora is village populated by the Serbs who are mostly involved in the agriculture.
