Biograd na Moru

Biograd na Moru is a city and municipality in northern Dalmatia, Croatia and is significant for being the former capital of the medieval Croatian Kingdom. Its population is 5,528 (2011). Biograd is administratively part of the Zadar County. It is located on the Adriatic Sea coast, overlooking the island of Pašman, on the road from Zadar and Sukošan towards Vodice and Šibenik. The city of Biograd is a noted tourist resort with a long tradition.

Tkon

Tkon is a municipality in Croatia in the Zadar County. According to the 2001 census, there are 707 inhabitants, 98% which are Croats. It is located on the island of Pašman and is connected by ferry to the mainland town of Biograd na Moru.

Kraj, Pašman

Kraj is a small village located in the southeast part of the island of Pašman, 3 km south of the town of Pašman, 300 m from the coast of the Pašman Channel in Dalmatia, Croatia. The Kraj village features a Gothic Franciscan monastery with a church from 1392. The gate leading to the monastery yard was restored in Baroque style in 1669. The church was also reconstructed in Baroque style, and at the front is a Renaissance relief of St. Jerome from 1554.

Pašman is an island off the coast of the Adriatic Sea in Croatia with an area of 60.11  km, located to the south of Zadar, surrounded by the islands Ugljan, Iž, Dugi otok and Kornati. The municipality of Pašman is inhabited by 2,004 people (2001). There are 11 villages on Pašman, from SE to NW: Tkon, Ugrinić, Kraj, Pašman, Mali Pašman, Barotul, Mrljane, Neviđane, Dobropoljana, Banj, Ždrelac.

Pakoštane

Pakoštane is a municipality in Croatia in the Zadar County. According to the 2001 census, there are 3,884 inhabitants, 98% which are Croats. North of the Vrana Lake, 6 km from Pakoštane, there is historic settlement of Vrana. The famous Croatian general Ante Gotovina grew up in Pakoštane.
