Pakoštane is a municipality in Croatia in the Zadar County. According to the 2001 census, there are 3,884 inhabitants, 98% which are Croats. North of the Vrana Lake, 6 km from Pakoštane, there is historic settlement of Vrana. The famous Croatian general Ante Gotovina grew up in Pakoštane.

Biograd na Moru

Biograd na Moru is a city and municipality in northern Dalmatia, Croatia and is significant for being the former capital of the medieval Croatian Kingdom. Its population is 5,528 (2011). Biograd is administratively part of the Zadar County. It is located on the Adriatic Sea coast, overlooking the island of Pašman, on the road from Zadar and Sukošan towards Vodice and Šibenik. The city of Biograd is a noted tourist resort with a long tradition.

Tkon

Tkon is a municipality in Croatia in the Zadar County. According to the 2001 census, there are 707 inhabitants, 98% which are Croats. It is located on the island of Pašman and is connected by ferry to the mainland town of Biograd na Moru.

Vrgada

Vrgada is an island off the coast of Croatia in the Adriatic Sea. It is located halfway between Zadar and Šibenik, in the archipelago northwest of Murter and south of Biograd na moru, 2.5 nautical miles from the mainland. It has area of 3.7 km and population of 242. The only settlement on the island is also named Vrgada and is surrounded with pine forest. Main industries are agriculture and fishing. On northeast coast, there are several small coves.

Arta Velika

Arta Velika is an uninhabited island in Croatia, in central Dalmatia, part of the Šibenik archipelago off the coast of the city of Šibenik. It lies 2.5 km northwest of the island of Murter and the settlement nearest to the island is Pakoštane, 5 km away on the mainland. The island's area is 1.27 km² and its coastline is 5.53 km long. The highest point on the island is Velika Glava, which is 95 meters high.
