Ravni Kotari

Ravni Kotari is a geographical region in Croatia. It is situated in northern Dalmatia, around Zadar and east of it. It is bordered by Bukovica to the northeast, lower Krka on the southeast and the Adriatic Sea. The biggest settlement of the region is the town of Benkovac. Other bigger settlements are Zemunik Donji (where Zadar Airport is situated), Polača, Poličnik, Galovac, Gorica, Škabrnja, Posedarje, Pridraga, Novigrad and Stankovci.

Drakonjina špilja

Drakonjina špilja (cave), also known as Zmajeva pećina (Dragon's cave), is so called because of the mysterious relief of a dragon found inside. It is located immediately above Murvica, on the island of Brač, in Croatia. The dragon was carved by unknown monk in the 15th century, when the monks lived in the caves and even built a chapel in them. As well as the dragon, there is also a carving of the moon and other ancient cult symbols.
