Arodhes

Arodhes is a village in the North West of Cyprus close to the Akamas peninsula. It is about 23 km from the town of Paphos. Arodhes is composed of two smaller settlements; Pano Arodhes (mainly Greek Cypriot) and Kato Arodhes (previously mainly Turkish Cypriot). In 1975 (a year after the Turkish invasion of Cyprus), Kato Arodhes was abandoned and many of the buildings fell into disrepair.

Miliou

Miliou is a village on the island of Cyprus. On the road from Paphos to Polis, about 13 km before you reach Polis, there is a turning on the left which will take you to the little village of Miliou nestling on the Laona plateau. Right next door to the springs is the restored monastery of 'Agii Anargyri which is now being used as a spa hotel. The monastery was built in 1649 and is said to be one of the first ever on the island.

Kathikas

Kathikas is one of the Laona villages in the Paphos District of Cyprus. It is situated on a plateau 23 kilometers north of Paphos. It has an altitude of 645m and a population of 333. It is well known for its grape production, most notably sultana grapes. It also has a flourishing agrotourism industry. Kathikas has a very active Residents Association

Phiti

Phiti village also known as Phyti, is situated on a plateau 25 kilometers north-east of Paphos and 20 kilometres south-east of Polis Chrysochous. There are several small villages within a 3 kilometre radius of Fyti including, Lasa, Kritou Marottou and Anadhiou all residing at an average altitude of 680 metres.

Akamas

Akamas, is a promontory and cape at the northwest extremity of Cyprus with an area of 230 square kilometres. Ptolemy described it as a thickly wooded headland, divided into two by summits [a mountain range] rising towards the north. The peninsula is named after a son of Theseus, hero of the Trojan War and founder of the city-kingdom of Soli. Until the year 2000, the peninsula was used by the British Army and Navy for military exercises and as a firing range.
