Paphos District
Paphos District is one of the six districts of Cyprus and it is situated in the western part of Cyprus. Its main town and capital is Paphos. The entire district is controlled by the internationally recognized government of Cyprus. There are four municipalities in Paphos District: Paphos, Yeroskipou, Peyia, and Polis Chrysochous. The area of the district is 1,393 km. ², which constitutes the 15.1% of the total area of the island, and the population in 2011 was 88,266.

Miliou
Miliou is a village on the island of Cyprus. On the road from Paphos to Polis, about 13 km before you reach Polis, there is a turning on the left which will take you to the little village of Miliou nestling on the Laona plateau. Right next door to the springs is the restored monastery of 'Agii Anargyri which is now being used as a spa hotel. The monastery was built in 1649 and is said to be one of the first ever on the island.

Tala, Paphos
Tala is a large suburban village 6 km due north of the city centre of Paphos, Cyprus. Many non-Cypriots have moved here permanently or have a summer home in Tala. Ayios Neofytos Monastery is 1 km north. Tala is the ancestral village of the singer Cat Stevens. His father, Stavros Georgiou, was born here in 1900. Paphos General Hospital
Paphos General Hospital is the Paphos district's main medical centre. With four stories and 25.000m this pyramid shaped hospital is designed to offer to patients first aid to MRI Scans. When opened in 1992 it was considered one of the best medical centers in the Middle East. Nowadays this is not valid. The hospital was left to decline and it is currently unable to handle the rapidly growing population of Paphos.
