Holbo Herred

Holbo Herred is a former administrative division in Denmark located in the present-day Gribskov Municipality plus the parish of Nødebo (which today is in Hillerød Municipality). Previously, Holbo had been under Strø Herred. Holbos seal from 1648 represents Søborg Castle. The following parishes are located in the former hundred.

Helsinge

Until 1 January 2007, Helsinge was a municipality in Frederiksborg County on the north coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. It had a total population of 19,473 (2005), but in the summer months the population grew to over 36.000 people. Its last mayor was Claus Lange, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Helsinge.

Brøckhouse Brewery

Brøckhouse was a Danish micro brewery, located in Hillerød that was founded in 1995 by brewer Allan Poulsen. It reached a peak production capacity of 500.000 litres per year. The brewery specialised in brewing beers that was influenced by beers based on Danish history. Among others the Esrum Abbey Ale with inspiration from beer brewed in the Danish Esrum Abbey which was released in the autumn of 2004.

Helsinge, Denmark

Helsinge is the municipal seat of Gribskov municipality in Region Hovedstaden on Zealand in Denmark with a population of 7,881 (1 January 2011). The town was years ago elected the ugliest town in Denmark by a journalist from national television, Peter Olesen, which is why among its inhabitants it have the popular name Hæslinge (Hæslig=ugly).

Helsinge-Hallen

Helsinge-Hallen is an indoor sports arena in Helsinge, Denmark, primarily used for handball. The arena can hold 1,600 spectators and is home to Danish Handball League team Nordsjælland Håndbold.
