Hundested

Hundested is a town with a population of 8,732 (1 January 2012) and a former municipality in Region Hovedstaden in the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The former municipality is surrounded by water on three side: to the north is the Kattegat, to the west is the channel leading into the Isefjord, and to the south is Roskilde Fjord and the channel leading into it from the Isefjord.

Rørvig

Rørvig is a small town with a population of 1,037 (1 January 2012) in the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. Rørvig is surrounded by water on three sides: to the north is the Kattegat, to the east is the channel leading into the Isefjord, and to the south is Roskilde Fjord. There is a small fishing industry there, as well as a marina for pleasure craft.

Asserbohus

Asserbohus is a mansion and former hotel and school in Asserbo, Halsnæs Municipality, Denmark. Asserbohus was built by antique dealer Henry Skaanström in 1933 as a luxury hotel, not far from the northern beach of Asserbo. The main building is a total of 2306 m². For the most part, Asserbohus is built from recycled materials, including columns from a large sailing ship. From 1957 to 1978, Asserbohus was a boarding school.

Jægerspris Castle

Jægerspris Castle, in Jægerspris on the Hornsherred peninsula west of Copenhagen, is a Danish manor house. It has belonged to the Danish monarchs for most of its history which dates back to the 13th century. In the 1850s it became a retreat for King Frederik VII and his morganatic wife Countess Danner, who sought refuge there to escape the controversy their marriage had caused among the establishment in Copenhagen. After the king's death, Countess Danner turned it into an asylum for women.
