Sallingsund Bridge

Sallingsund Bridge (Sallingsundbroen) is a bridge that crosses Salling Sund between the island of Mors and the Salling peninsula on the mainland in Denmark. The bridge is 1717 metres long, the longest span is 93 metres, and the maximum clearance to the sea is 26 metres. The building of Sallingsund Bridge started in 1973, and it was opened by Queen Margrethe II on 30 May 1978.

Nykøbing Mors Cricket Club Ground

Nykøbing Mors Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Nykøbing Mors, Denmark. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1989 when Denmark Women played Ireland Women in a Women's One Day International in the 1989 Women's European Championship. Six Women's One Day Internationals were held at the ground during that tournament, and a further six were held there when Denmark hosted the 1999 Women's European Championship.

Morsø Sparekasse Arena

Morsø Sparekasse Arena is an indoor sports arena in Nykøbing Mors, Denmark primarily used for handball. The arena was built in 2008, and is home to Danish Handball League side Mors-Thy Håndbold.

Nykøbing Mors

Nykøbing Mors is the largest town on the Danish Limfjord island of Mors. The town received its charter in 1299 and has a population of 9,222 (1 January 2012). It is located in Morsø municipality and belongs to Region Nordjylland. Nykøbing was the place of birth of Danish-Norwegian author Aksel Sandemose and the reputed inspiration for the fictional town of Jante, associated with the Jante Law, in Sandemose's novel A Fugitive Crosses His Tracks.

Sundsøre Municipality

Until January 1, 2007 Sundsøre municipality was a municipality in the former Viborg County on the Salling Peninsula, a part of the larger Jutland peninsula in northwest Denmark. The municipality included the island of Fur, and covered an area of 171 km². It had a total population of 6,464 (2005). Its last mayor is Flemming Eskildsen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Breum.
