Fjends Municipality

Until 1 January 2007, Fjends municipality was a municipality in Viborg County on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 236 km², and had a total population of 8,152 (2005). Its last mayor was Svend Aage Jensen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Stoholm. Fjends municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007).

Skive Municipality

Skive municipality is a municipality in Central Denmark Region at the base of Salling Peninsula, a part of the larger Jutland peninsula in northwest Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 682 km², and has a total population of 48,356 (2008). Its mayor is Flemming Eskildsen, a member of the Venstre political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Skive.

Skive, Denmark

Skive is a town in Skive municipality in Region Midtjylland at the base of Salling Peninsula, a part of the larger Jutland peninsula in northwest Denmark. It is the municipality's main town and the site of its municipal council. The town of Skive is located at the mouth of the Karup River (Karup Å) and the Skive Fjord, part of the Limfjord. Skive has a population of 20,562 (1 January 2012).

Krabbesholm Højskole

Krabbesholm Højskole is a Danish-language residential high school founded in 1885, located in Skive, Denmark with students from several nations. The school specializes in art, architecture and design, and is located in the Krabbesholm manor, which dates from 1565. The manor is composed of several farms that were inherited by Magdelene Banner, who then gave it to her husband Ivar Crabbe, after whom the farm is named.

Four Boxes Gallery

The Four Boxes Gallery is a modern art gallery in the grounds of Krabbesholm Højskole near Skive, Denmark. The gallery was designed by the Japanese architects Atelier Bow-Wow, and is a three-storey building conceived as four stacked boxes used to exhibit work by both students of the Krabbesholm Højskole and invited artists. The school arranges 6-8 exhibitions each year featuring the work of artists, architects and designers from Denmark and abroad.
