The municipality covered an area of 176 km², and had a total population of 7,631 (2005). Its latest mayor was Rigmor Sandborg. The former Nørager municipality covered an area of 168 km², and had a total population of 5,565 (2005). Møldrup Municipality

Until 1 January 2007 Møldrup municipality was a municipality in the former Viborg County on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 212 km², and had a total population of 7,670 (2005). Its last mayor was Gunnar Korsbæk, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Møldrup.

Borremose bodies

Borremose bodies is the collective name for three bog bodies found in the Borremose peat bog in Himmerland, Denmark. Recovered between 1946 and 1948, the bodies of a man and two women have been dated to the Nordic Bronze Age. In 1891, the Gundestrup cauldron was found in a nearby bog.
