EUC Nord

EUC Nord is the fusion of the technical schools in Hjørring and Frederikshavn, in Vendsyssel in Denmark. EUC is an abbreviation of Erhvervsuddannelsescenter, which means Vocational Education Center. EUC Nord has six departments; four in Hjørring and two in Frederikshavn. In Hjørring there is both a HTX and a HHX departments beside the vocational educations. In Frederikshavn there is only an HTX department beside the vocational educations.

Hjørring Stadium

Hjørring Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Hjørring, Denmark. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Hjørring and Fortuna Hjørring. The stadium holds 7,500 people.

Hjørring Municipality

Hjørring Municipality is a municipality in North Denmark Region on the west coast of the island of Vendsyssel-Thy at the top of the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 929,58 km², making it the largest in Vendsyssel, and it has a total population of 67,121 (2008). Its current mayor is Arne Boelt, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Hjørring.

Sindal

Sindal is a town with a population of 3,090 (1 January 2012) and a former municipality in Hjørring municipality in Region Nordjylland on the island of Vendsyssel-Thy at the top of the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The former Sindal municipality covered an area of 242 km², and had a total population of 9,425 (2005). On January 1, 2007 Sindal municipality ceased to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007).
