Gråsten Palace

Gråsten Palace is best known for being the summer residence of the Danish Royal Family. It is located in Gråsten in the Jutland region of southern Denmark. The main house has a modern, all-white facade, with Venetian doors opening onto sweeping, manicured lawns and gravel walkways. The grounds include a huge stables court.

Sundeved

Sundeved is a peninsula on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark. It lies between Åbenrå Fjord and Als Fjord to the north, Alssund to the east and Flensborg Fjord to the south. The westernmost part of the city of Sønderborg is located on the peninsula. Most of Sønderborg is on the island of Als.

Aabenraa Municipality

Aabenraa Municipality or Åbenrå Municipality is a municipality in Region of Southern Denmark in south-western Denmark. It has existed in its current form since 1 January 2007 following a merger of several smaller municipalities. The municipality has an area of 951 km² and a total population of 60,189 (2008). The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Aabenraa. The mayor is Tove Larsen representing the Social Democrats.

South Jutland County

South Jutland County is a former county on the south-central portion of the Jutland Peninsula in southern Denmark. The county was formed on April 1, 1970, comprising the former counties of Aabenraa (E), Haderslev (N), Sønderborg (SE), and Tønder (SW). The county was abolished effective January 1, 2007, when the Region of Southern Denmark was formed.

Lundtoft Municipality

Until January 1, 2007 Lundtoft was a municipality in South Jutland County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 137 km², and had a total population of 6,184 (2005). Its last mayor was Hans Philip Tietje, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Aabenraa, which it shared with neighboring Aabenraa Municipality.
