Skamlingsbanken

Skamlingsbanken is a large hill located in Vejstrup Parish, Jutland, Denmark between Kolding and Christiansfeld. With a peak rising to 113 metres above sea level, it is the highest point in Southern Jutland. The bank of the hill is 2 to 3 kilometres (to mi) long and was created during the ice age with clay pushed up the Little Belt Strait from a nearby glacier. Several major historic public meetings took place here during and after the disputes over the territory of Schleswig-Holstein.

Kolding-Hallen

Designskolen Kolding

Designskolen Kolding (Kolding School of Design) is a University-level school that teaches design. It is located in the town of Kolding in eastern Jutland, Denmark. The school offers a 5-year education in graphic design, illustration design, industrial design, interaction design, fashion design and textile design. Kolding School of Design is one of two Danish design schools organised under the Danish Ministry of Culture, the other being The Danish Design School in Copenhagen.

Kolding Municipality

Kolding municipality is a municipality in Region Syddanmark on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in southeast Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 640 km², and has a total population of 87,781 (2008). Its mayor is Jørn Pedersen, a member of the Liberal Party (Venstre) political party. The main city and the site of its municipal council is the seaport city of Kolding, the sixth largest city in Denmark.

Koldinghus

Koldinghus is a Danish royal castle in the town of Kolding on the south central part of the Jutland peninsula. The castle was founded in the 13th century and was expanded since with many functions ranging from fortress, royal residency, ruin, museum, and the location of numerous wartime negotiations. The castle was originally founded by Christoffer I in 1268 but the oldest remaining part of buildings is the north side facing the castle lake originally built by king Christoffer III (1441–1448).
