St. Agnes' Priory, Gavnø

St. Agnes Priory was established by Queen Margaret I for a community of Dominican nuns at Gavnø Island. After the Danish Reformation the priory was transformed into a manor estate known as Gavnø Castle located near Næstved, Denmark.

Gavnø

Gavnø is a small Danish island off the west coast of Zealand in Næstved Municipality. Located some 6 km south-west of Næstved, it has an area of 5.6 km, and, as of 1 January 2010, it has a population of 57. Gavnø is now associated mainly with Gavnø Castle, an impressive Rococo building with an attractive park.

Næstved Stadion

Næstved Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Næstved, Denmark. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Næstved BK. The stadium holds 10,000 people and opened in 1944.

St Martin's Church, Næstved

St Martin's Church (Danish: Sankt Mortens Kirke) is located in Næstved on the Danish island of Sealand. It is one of the city's medieval churches. Known from records since approximately 1280, it is believed to have been built and put into service around 1200. The building was constructed as the city's parish church. It is dedicated to St Martin of Tours considered its patron saint.
