Pastaza River

The Pastaza (formerly known as the Sumatara) is a large tributary to the Marañón River in the northwestern Amazon Basin of South America. It has its headwaters in the Ecuadorian province of Cotapaxi, flowing off of the northwestern slopes of the volcano Cotopaxi and known as the Patate River. The Patate flows south and in Tungurahua Province it is joined by the Chambo River just upstream from the town of Baños de Agua Santa just north of the volcano Mount Tungurahua and becomes the Pastaza.

Pintag, Ecuador

Pintag is an agrarian village located 27.5 kilometers southeast of Quito in Pichincha Province, Ecuador. Pintag is 9284 feet above sea level. The closest airport is the Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito. The town is located is near the Antisana volcano in Pichincha. Some of the residents farm and raise livestock, and horse riding is a popular local sport. Pintag is the home to the first Jesuit monastery in Ecuador, a farmhouse named Hacienda Yurak.

Cotopaxi

Cotopaxi is a stratovolcano in the Andes Mountains, located about 28 km south of Quito, Ecuador, South America. It is the second highest summit in the country, reaching a height of 5,897 m Cotopaxi has an almost symmetrical cone that rises from a highland plain of about 3,800 metres (12,500 ft), with a width at its base of about 23 kilometres (14 mi). It has one of the few equatorial glaciers in the world, which starts at the height of 5,000 metres (16,400 ft).

Estadio Rumiñahui
