Debarwa

Debarwa is a market town in central Eritrea. It is situated about 25 kilometers south of the capital Asmara, and has a population of about 25,000 inhabitants. It is the capital of the Debarwa district (Tsilima) in the Debub ("Southern") administrative region (one of five in Eritrea).

Dairo Paulos

Dairo Paulos (alternatively Da'iro P'awlos or Dahro Caulos) is a village on the outskirts of Asmara, Eritrea. The name means "Fig of Paul" and is reported to refer to a characteristic tree of the area and a founder of the village. There is a small reservoir near the town. Dairo Pawlos is now on a transit line of the municipality of Asmara near the Asmara International Airport.

Asmara International Airport

Asmara International Airport, formerly known as Yohannes IV International Airport is an airport in Asmara, the capital of Eritrea. In 2004, the airport served 136,526 passengers (+11.8% vs. '03). Asmara Airport has severe capacity restrictions, due to its small terminal, short runway and 1.5 mile altitude. This means that large jet aircraft cannot fly to the airport. Aircraft of this size would need to use Massawa International Airport, on the Eritrean coast.

Fiat Tagliero Building

The Fiat Tagliero Building in Asmara, capital city of Eritrea, is a Futurist Style service station completed in 1938 and designed by the Italian architect Giuseppe Pettazzi. From the beginning conceived as a simple petrol station, Pettazzi designed a building that resembles an aeroplane. The building consists of a central tower which incorporates the office space and cashiers desk and shop.
