Efratana Gidim

Efratana Gidim ("Efrata and Gedem") is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. It is named after two historic districts that were part of the former autonomous kingdom of Shewa, Efrata and Gedem. Part of the Semien Shewa Zone, Efratana Gidim is bordered on the south by Kewet, on the southwest by Menz Mam Midir, on the west by Menz Gera Midir, on the north by Antsokiyana Gemza, and on the east by the Oromia Zone.

Argobba special woreda (Afar)

Argobba (or Argoba) is one of the woredas in the Afar Region of Ethiopia. This woreda is named for the Argobba people, whose homeland lies in this district. Located on the eastern escarpment of the Ethiopian highlands, Argobba is bordered on the south, west and north by the Amhara Region, and on the east by Dulecha. Settlements in this woreda include Gachine. The average elevation in this woreda is 471 meters above sea level.

Ankober

Ankober (also called Gorobela) is a town in central Ethiopia and one of the capitals of the former kingdom of Shewa. Located in the Semien Shewa Zone of the Amhara Region, Ankober is perched on the eastern escarpment of the Ethiopian Highlands 40 kilometers to the east of Debre Birhan, with a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:9|34|N|39|54|E|region:ET-AM_type:city(2288)|| |primary |name= }}, and an approximate elevation of about 2465 meters.
