Alem Ber is a city located in northern part of Amhara state in Ethiopia. It is one of two cities in Fogera woreda. The population of Alem Ber and its surrounding mostly depends on Trade and Agriculture. The place also serves as source of butter, pepper and cereals which are exported to Debre Tabour and Worota. Fogera
Fogera is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of northwest Ethiopia. Fogera is part of the Debub Gondar Zone. The district is bordered on the south by Dera, on the west by Lake Tana, on the north by the Reb which separates it from Kemekem, on the northeast by Ebenat, and on the east by Farta.
