Modjo River

The Modjo is a river of central Ethiopia. A tributary of the Awash River, its own tributaries include the Wedecha and Belbela. A report by Action Professionals Association for the People, a non-governmental organization, claimed that laboratory analyses of toxic industrial chemicals in the river waters and clinical data of people in the watershed revealed that the Modjo is one of the two most polluted rivers in Ethiopia.

Koka Reservoir

The Koka Reservoir (also known as Lake Gelila) is a reservoir in south-central Ethiopia. It was created by the construction of the Koka Dam across the Awash River. The reservoir has an area of 180 square kilometers. Located in the Misraq Shewa Zone of the Oromia Region, close to the capital and largest city of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, the Koka Reservoir is popular with tourists and city-dwellers. There is a variety of wildlife and birds around the lake.

Dugda (woreda)

Dugda is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It was part of the former woreda of Dugda Bora what was divided between Bora and Dugda woredas.

Meki

Meki is a town in east-central Ethiopia. Located in the Misraq Shewa Zone of the Oromia Region, it has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:8|9|N|38|49|E||| | |name= }} with an elevation of 1636 meters above sea level. Meki is the administrative center of Dugda woreda. The Apostolic Vicariate of Meki of the Catholic Church has its headquarters in Meki, which also runs a local high school in the town, Meki Catholic School (MCS).
