Digeluna Tijo is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Arsi Zone, Digeluna Tijo is bordered on the south by Bekoji, on the southwest by Munesa, on the northwest by Tiyo, on the north by Hitosa, on the northeast by Tena, and on the east by Sherka. Ulrich Braukämper theorizes that the name "Gedeb" comes from a Hadiya subgroup mentioned in the Royal Chronicle of Zara Yaqob, where they are referred to as the "Gab".

Located in the northwestern corner of the Bale Zone, Agarfa is bordered on the south by Sinanana Dinsho, on the west by Mirab Arsi Zone, on the north by the Shabelle River which separates it from the Arsi Zone, and on the east by Gaserana Gololcha. Asasa is a town in southeastern Ethiopia. Located in the Mirab Arsi Zone of the Oromia Region, this town has a latitude and longitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:07|06|N|39|12|E||| | |name= }} with an elevation of 2367 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Gedeb Asasa woreda. Asasa was the location of the Kulumsa experimental farm, a project of Chilalo Agricultural Development Union that ran from 1966 to 1968.
