Part of the Jijiga Zone, Gursum is bordered on the south by Babille, on the west by the Oromia Region, on the north by Ajersagora, on the east by Jijiga, and on the southeast by Kebri Beyah. Babille, Somali (woreda)

For the woreda in the Oromia Region, see Babille, Oromia (woreda). Babille is one of the woredas in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. It is named after one of the 12 major tribes of the Oromo people, the Babille Oromo. Part of the Jijiga Zone, Babille is bordered on the west by the Oromia Region, on the north by Gursum, and on the east and south by Fiq Zone. Fugnan Bira

Fugnan Bira (meaning "near a nose" because of its proximity to the last part of a mountain chain) is a town in east-central Ethiopia. It is commonly known by its more recent name, Gursum. Located in the Misraq Hararghe Zone of the Oromia Region, on a high plateau at the southern base of Mount Kondudo, which gives the town a climate similar to Harar.

Jijiga

Jijiga is a city in eastern Ethiopia and the capital of the Somali Region of the country. Located in the Jijiga Zone approximately 80 km (50 mi) east of Harar and 60 km (37 mi) west of the border with Somalia, this city has an elevation of 1,609 meters above sea level. The city is located on the main road between Harar and the Somali city of Hargeisa, and is known for incense production. It has enjoyed postal service since 1923, and had telephone service by 1956.
