Kadavu Island

Kadavu, with an area of 411 square kilometers, is the fourth largest island in Fiji, and the largest island in the Kadavu Group, a volcanic archipelago consisting of Kadavu, Ono, Galoa and a number of smaller islands in the Great Astrolabe Reef. Its main administrative centre is Vunisea, which has an airport, a high school, a hospital, and a government station, on the Namalata Isthmus where the island is almost cut in two. Suva, Fiji's capital, lies 88 kilometers to the north of Kadavu.

Kadavu Province

Kadavu Province is one of fourteen provinces of Fiji, and forms part of the Eastern Division, which also includes the Provinces of Lau, Lomaiviti and Rotuma. Kadavu also belongs to the Burebasaga Confederacy, a hierarchy of chiefs from southern and western Fiji with Roko Tui Dreketi of Rewa as the paramount chief. It consists of Kadavu Island, Ono Island, Galoa Island, Dravuni Island and a few other islands.

Vunisea Airport

Vunisea Airport is an airport located near Vunisea on Kadavu Island in Fiji. Also known as Namalata Airport or Kadavu Airport, it serves many tourists surfing and kayaking in Fiji. It is operated by Airports Fiji Limited.

Ono Island (Fiji)

Ono Island is a member of the Kadavu Group, an outlier to Kadavu Island, to the south of Viti Levu, one of Fiji's two main islands. It is separated from Kadavu Island by the Ono Channel. Located at 18.88° South and 178.50° East, this volcanic island is enclosed by the Great Astrolabe Reef. It covers an area of 30 square kilometers. Its maximum altitude is 354 meters.

Leleuvia

Leleuvia is a coral cay in Fiji's Lomaiviti archipelago. The 68,000 m² islet is the site of the Leleuvia Island Resort, previously operated by the Chinese-Fijian businessman Emosi Yee Shaw. Only recently in early 2006 has the Island been leased by a Company called Saluwaki Limited with the intention to refurbish the island resort. Leleuvia Island is popular among beachcombers and kite surfers. There is snorkelling directly off the beach.
