Helsinki University of Technology

The Helsinki University of Technology (TKK) was a technical university in Finland. It was located in Otaniemi, Espoo in the metropolitan area of Greater Helsinki. The university was founded in 1849 by Grand Duke Nicholas I and received university status in 1908. It moved from Helsinki to Otaniemi campus area in 1966. It was merged into Aalto University in 2010 and briefly had the name Aalto University School of Science and Technology before being split into four schools in 2011.

Otaniemi is the home of the Helsinki University of Technology (TKK) campus; "Otaniemi" is often used as a synonym for TKK. Innopoli

Innopoli is a large and famous office building in the district of Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland, near the main campus of the Helsinki University of Technology. Innopoli provides housing for many newly founded Information Technology companies, and some famous successful companies such as SSH Communications have started there. A new office building, called Innopoli 2, was constructed later near the original Innopoli building.

Fortum head office

The Fortum head office is a high-rise office building located in Espoo, just outside Helsinki, the capital of Finland. With a height of 84 metres (274 feet), it is currently the second tallest habitable building in Finland. The building houses the head office of Fortum, an energy company owned primarily by the Finnish state. It was constructed between 1973 and 1978, while Uolevi Raade was the manager of Neste, which merged and later demerged with Imatran Voima, the predecessor of Fortum.
