Lahti University of Applied Sciences

Lahti University of Applied Sciences (LUAS) is a multidisciplinary institution of higher professional education, formerly known as Lahti Polytechnic in Lahti, Finland. LUAS is located in Southern Finland, 100 km from the capital of Helsinki. Lahti longwave transmitter

The Lahti longwave transmitter was a facility for long wave transmission at Lahti, Finland. It was inaugurated in 1927 and used as an aerial a T-type aerial spun between two 150 metre high free standing steel framework towers. The Lahti longwave transmitter was shut down in 1993. Nowadays the facility is used as a museum. The red-and-white towers are still standing and form a local landmark.

Isku Areena

Lahti Stadium

Lahti Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Lahti, Finland. In Winter the stadium is used in cross-country skiing and biathlon. In summer it is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Lahti. The stadium holds 14,500 and was built in 1981. Stadium is also a well-known venue for cross-country skiing and biathlon. It, along with neighboring ski jumping hills, has hosted two FIS Nordic World Ski Championships and numerous FIS World Cup events.
